2017 Road Ahead Poker Run

What a great day for us Ottawa bound CMC folks! A wonderful ride in support the Road Ahead Poker Run to defeat breast cancer. Despina Boukouris, David Butler, Diane Perras McHale, Brian McHale , Bruce Ferguson and Duane Leon all had a fantastic ride with about 50 other riders in spectacular weather in support of the cause. Congrats to Duane Leon as this was his his first large large group ride and his first 400 series ride since obtaining his M2 just the other day. And he did it like a pro! Well done Duane!!!

2017 Experienced Rider Course (ERC)

Another great… if not somewhat damp… Experienced Rider Course (ERC) very well executed by the Ottawa Safety Council instructors who worked our butts off all day long! We had 18 bikes out and special guest visits by Jeanie Gramann,Frank Kramer, and Matt Worthmann all providing moral support to our hard working crew. As a testament to the degree of difficulty on this course, there were quite a few dropsies going on including our instructors!! All in all, a great course to learn and hone your slow riding skills! I highly recommend this course to any rider of any skill level!

2017 Ride for Disabled Vets

What a great turnout today for The Ride for Disabled Vets! CMC had 14 bikes and 15 riders in our group plus at least 2 other bikes riding with different groups, despite the bad weather! Many thanks to Jim Dueck for leading the way as RC and Michel Bourgon bringing up the rear as our Tailgunner! Special thanks to Debbie Anne for coming out and registering for the ride as well!   Also, thanks to all the volunteers helping out at the Beckwith Fire Hall!

Many thanks to Greg Toope of CruisnCanada for sharing his outstanding ride video!  Cheers Greg!!
